Pineapples from benin transformed in france into two cuvees of wine. Here's the recipe from Maison Dalla, who presented a foretaste of this drink on gourmet selection.

Here's a pineapple that's the proud of Benin, known as the Sugar Bread because of its long shape. Its characteristics: it remains green when fully ripe and has very juicy, white flesh with a very strong fruity aroma and a slight honey flavour. In fact, it's the only PGI pineapple in the world. It has recently been bottled to create a refreshing and surprising alcohol.

Produced in France by Maison Dalla, this spirit is available in two vintages:

  • Angélique, a semi-dry with ripe fruit aromas, made from 88% pure pineapple juice. Ideal as an aperitif and with exotic dishes, salads and desserts.
  • Toussaint, a dry wine with exotic fruit aromas and a floral touch, made from 95% pure juice. Perfect with seafood, fish, sushi and Mediterranean cuisine. The wines are available in 375 ml and 750 ml sizes.

The benefits :

  • An original, convivial spirit full of surprises
  • A delicious taste of freshly squeezed pineapple
  • A wine to match with a multitude of dishes
