The 2026 Business Initiatives Award, co-organised by Gourmet Selection and Le Monde de l’Épicerie Fine, will be awarded at the Gourmet Selection trade show at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
Chaired by Florence Hardy (Maison Médélys), the jury, made up of industry professionals, recognised entrepreneurial initiatives capable of generating real added value for the sector, beyond the product itself.

Why La Plantation stood out this year?

This year, the prize was awarded to La Plantation, whose business model was praised for its overall coherence and maturity.

The company stood out for its ability to control its entire short-supply-chain production process, guaranteeing both the freshness and traceability of its products. The jury also highlighted the quality of its commitment to promoting local terroirs and producers, as well as the robustness of its business model. Beyond the product itself, the company’s regional and social impact in Cambodia was also highlighted.

This recognition rewards thirteen years of development built on consistency, high standards and a long-term vision.

Jury's favorite: PureCake

The jury also wished to honour PureCake by awarding it a ‘Jury’s Favourite’ prize, commending an approach that is both original and in tune with new food trends.

The company offers a broader vision of indulgence, accessible to as many people as possible, notably through vegan, gluten-free and sugar-free recipes.

This award highlights an initiative that addresses societal challenges whilst retaining a strong focus on gourmet enjoyment and pleasure.
